The 17th District is moving in a positive direction. Statistically, our crime is being reduced, with only a few isolated set backs. I would like to thank everyone for their involvement in getting us to where we are today. It is through the efforts of Commanders, our personnel, the Police District Advisory Council, and our community that we are able to address everyone’s concerns in an effective and efficient manner.
Please continue to be involved in any way you can: Attend our Town Hall meetings, become a Block Captain, become a member of Town Watch, support others who hold leadership positions within the community, be the eyes and ears of the police department and call us when you feel something is not right. We have a great community, and my goal is to make it even better. Thank you for your support and involvement.
